The Foundation, a Massachusetts not-for-profit corporation which is tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, is the primary fundraising arm of the Schools. The Foundation is also a dissemination arm for the Schools, implementing the Schools' unique tutoring program in traditional public school settings and nationwide, and launching teacher training courses using the teacher training model in practice at the Schools. The Foundation also donates back office support to the Schools, leases space to Match Charter Public School, and has participated in certain financing arrangements to provide facilities for Match Charter Public School. The Foundation pays an administrative fee for services provided by the Schools to the Foundation (including those of the Schools' employees), but there is no contract between the Foundation and the Schools. b. Sposato, a Massachusetts not-for-profit corporation, is a graduate school of education which requires its students to undertake actual full-time teaching experiences, in addition to coursework, in order to obtain a Masters of Effective Teaching. Students at Sposato are drawn from participants in the Match Teacher Residency program, a teacher training program operated by Match Charter Public School. There are no contracts between Sposato and the Schools, but Sposato donates services to the Match Teacher Residency program operated by Match Charter Public School and pays an administrative fee for services provided by the Schools to Sposato (including those of the Schools' employees). Foundation QALICB and Middle School QALICB, Massachusetts not-for-profit corporations which are tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, were organized to acquire real estate, to facilitate financing of a charter school facility and to develop a charter school facility.
